Well it was a great day. Horseback riding, go carts, the cove for tge boys and the pool for the girls. They watched a movie and played in arcades. This was the first day that both the boys and girls were together at an event. They were both at the lake together. It was real neat to see sibling greet each other with smiles and hugs. (Probably dont see that much). Anyway chapel was awesome and the kids had one last fling. The boys were at the pool, and our girls won an ice cream party for having the cleanest bunk. It was a blast! It’s getting late And will not post any more pics here on this blog. There is only one place in camp that has wifi and it’s far from my bunk. (I’m doing this on my iPhone). We have most of our boxes packed all up and ready for games movies and snacks on the bus. I will give the call team a ring when were about an hour away. We may run late since this bus driver takesore breaks, but I’m still hoping to be at tge church by 7:30. I’ll try to keep the facebook page updated with wherevwerecat from time to time and a few pics to maybe. God bless you all, and pray for a safe a quick trip for us. Thankyou

Well we had a great day. started with a great chapel and started off with event.  ALthough soon camre the lightnening storm and it chased us away from the lake and all other water activities. The kids did indoor activities from right around lunch to  supper. Arcades, indoor games, and movies.  After supper the sun came out and regular activities started agaain. We ended up with an AWESOME chapel lesson, woorship and game time. after that the girls went swimming in the pool and the boys went on the night Hike.  Her are some pics for you guys to look through.  Remember to check out the facebook page on the previous post. Pastor Vivian and I try to keep it posted with fresh pics from our iphones throughout the day.

Lets see we had a packed day. started with breakfast then to morning chapel. we went with the girls to the beach to ride on the banana boat, and innertube behind jetskis, and climb, play king of the mountain in the laks. Boys had time on the 2 go kart tracks, and went to the pool and water activities with inflatable water slides.  Girls had a snack and then went down to the cove to ride canoes, play in the lake and get thrown off of the inflatable blob.  They then went to the snocone shack to play snocone tag, while the boys hit the bumper cars, play a game of kick ball and play some inflatable games. I’,m sure I missed a lot of stuff, but here are a few pics.  Remember to check out the facebook link in the pryor post.  I have been posting regular updates from my phone there throughout the day.

Bus ride up playing the pringles game, on the porch out side of the dining hall, on or way to chapel, and On the train!  Whew what a day.  The first 3 pics took me over 30 minutes to upload, so i reduce the size of the others. We’ll have full CD’s or DVD’s with all the pics on them about a week after we get back.

Kids had spaghetti and a salad for supper. I checked with the chef and the dinning hall is a peanut free environment (for those of you concerned for peanut allergies). Chapel was filled with awesome worship and a lot of info for us and the kids. After that the kids were released to go out to do a few activities ending with a night train ride on their full sized restored steam engines. Lights out around 10:30-11. All the kids are well. There were some thunder storms here that have knocked out the wireless connection, so I can not upload any pictures this evening for you. I’ll try to get something up in the morning. (if it’s back up) I’ll keep you posted. Stay tuned

We made it! Sorry for the late notice. We started out 1 hour late and made 2 additional pit-stops that we normally don’t make.  We arrive around 4:30 and it took an hour to get situated. made the calls then sorry for any inconvenience I might have caused you. All the kids did well. One girl was a little motion sick, but made it like a champ.  Loads just ate and were going into chapel now. Update more later.Pm

Thanks to all parents for entrusting us with your children. We just passed Corsicana at about 9:26.  Watched one movie and played 2 games so far. A few motion sick kids, but we have Dramamine.  Will post more later.
